Low Voltage Transformers

Convert to low voltage using transformer/J-Box retrofit kit for most J-Boxes (doesn’t support 300/500W UCL). For 300/500W CrystaLogic or multi-light installations, the Hayward 300 watt transformer is the cost effective solution for new construction.

Our services include the following:

• Light Bulb Replacement – if the bulb has blown out, then we can often just install a bulb and gasket in the existing fixture. If the fixture is full of water or if the cord is compromised, then the fixture will need to be replaced.
• Light Fixture Replacement – if your light fixture needs to be replaced, our experienced repair technicians will remove the new fixture, pull a new fixture and secure it into the niche and test it out.
• LED Bulbs and Fixtures – we offer LED light fixtures for most of the standard pool light niches. These use 85% less electricity and the bulbs last a lot longer. We also offer LED light bulbs that can be used in standard light fixtures.
• Fiber Optic to LED Conversion – if your fiber optic lighting is no longer operational or if it does not work well, you may want to talk to us about retrofitting your system with LED lighting. We have a lot of great retrofit alternatives from several different manufacturers to meet every application.
• Electrical Troubleshooting – if your light is not working sometimes the problem is not with the light fixture or bulb. The problem may be in the GFCI or the wiring between the controls and the light. Our technicians are trained to carefully troubleshoot these issues and recommend the best course of action for your situation.

Pool Openings & Closings

Bee Tree opens and closes in-ground pools for residential, municipal and commercial customers throughout Southwest Virginia and West Virginia. Proper pool preparation for the winter season ensures that when warm weather arrives your pool will be ready to be opened before the pool season starts.

Pool Openings

When it’s time to open your pool count on the experts at Bee Tree to do the job right. We’ll re-install accessories such as diving boards, ladders, handrails, lights, pool cleaner, etc. And we’ll reassemble filter and pumps, including replacement of gaskets and/or seals if needed (parts not included), and perform a complete water chemistry check.

Pool Closings: Protect Your Pool in Winter

When the summer season ends, Bee Tree winterizes the pool equipment and all of the pool lines and adds necessary chemicals to the pool. A properly closed pool ensures a stress-free opening next season. Our services include lowering the water level in your pool accordingly; draining your pool’s filtration, heating and pumping equipment; blowing out filtration lines and equipment and installing winter plugs; removing the pool sweep and storing it on your property; covering the diving board; installing ice protection container in the skimmer and covering the filtering equipment with plastic.

Our pool opening service includes:

• Installation of all Deck Equipment (Ladder, Handrails, Diving Board, Lights)
• Installation of skimmer Basket/s and Return Eyeballs
• Prime and Start Pool Pump
• Light Heater Pilot
• Visually Inspect Pump, Filter, and Heater for Proper Operations
• Add Chlorine Tablets, Super Chlorination (Shock), and an Algaecide Treatment

As fall and winter approach, it comes time to close your pool in order to best take care of it. A pool is an expensive investment, and to protect it, a professional should handle your pool closing.

Our pool closing service includes:

• Removal of all Deck Equipment, such as Ladders, Handrails, Lights. (We do not remove Diving Boards Due to Liability.)
• Removal of Skimmer Baskets and Return Eyeballs
• Blowout of All Pool Related Water Lines using an “Air Compressor”.  We also add Antifreeze where needed.
• Proper Winterizing of Pool Equipment (Filter, Pumps, Heater, Chlorinator, Etc.)
• Addition of Winter Chemicals (Non-Chlorine Shock, Winter Algaecide, Mineral Control Agent)

We work with insurance adjusters and claim specialists to handle claims related to above and in-ground pools, spas and hot tubs. Our network of licensed contractors and engineers are also available for situations that require expert witness certification. Some of the pool & spa inspections involve:

Pressure Wash
